I am David O'Driscoll, Principal Consultant at Erintide Consulting. I work in health and medical research, translating between clinical, research, policy and technical teams so digital health and genomics initiatives deliver what they set out to achieve.
Over more than 40 years I have held architecture, information management, digital strategy and program leadership roles across the Australian Digital Health Agency, NEHTA, Queensland Police Service and independent consulting.
My recent work includes digital health strategy, genomic information management, health data landscapes, standards governance, FHIR community governance, electronic clinical decision support, aged care data, research information architecture and health system business cases.
I am a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Digital Health, a Certified Health Informatician Australasia and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. I start each engagement with the same question: what problem are you trying to solve? Everything after that is architecture, data and strategy in service of that answer.
Engagements are delivered a few ways: directly through Erintide Consulting, in partnership with the boutique advisory firm Voronoi, and through engagements delivered via Ernst & Young (EY).
